Permanent Senior 2D / 3D Game Designer / Animator (Slot Games) - 4 days in Oxfordshire office / 1 Remote

Salary: £45,000–£65,000+ (depending on experience)

Location: Oxfordshire

Working Model: Hybrid – 4 days in-office, 1 remote

Company:

Working for an internal game studio, creating free-to-play online slot games (no gambling or betting).

Role Overview:

- Design and animate high-quality 2D/3D assets for free-to-play mobile slot games. Take game briefs from concept to production, collaborating across teams to deliver polished and engaging games.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create 2D/3D game elements (symbols, UI, backgrounds, animations)

- Develop concept art and storyboards from game briefs

- Optimize assets for mobile performance

- Collaborate with creative, dev, and QA teams

- Stay current on trends and tools (including AI)

Requirements:

- Strong portfolio of 2D / 3D slot or casino game artwork

- Experience with tools like Spine, Photoshop, Illustrator, Maya, Blender

- Skills in rigging, shading, lighting, animation, etc.

- Comfortable with AI tools that enhance creative workflows

- Team player with good communication and time management

- Passion for slots and mobile game development
