Job summary
A leading education recruitment agency in London is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support children with additional needs across primary schools in Waltham Forest. This full-time role starts in September 2025, working closely with teachers to ensure student progress. Ideal candidates should be patient and proactive, with prior experience and strong communication skills.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or similar role.
- A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who have SEN.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents.
- Support SEN and mainstream pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

Reeson Education is recruiting a committed Learning Support Assistant to join primary schools across Waltham Forest from September 2025. This is a great opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them succeed in the classroom.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who have SEN, including autism (ASD), ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. Schools in Walthamstow, Leyton, and Chingford are seeking dedicated staff who can provide personalised support.
- Daily rate: £82.14 - £100
- Full-time, term-time only role starting September 2025
- Work across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 supporting SEN and mainstream pupils
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure progress
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or similar role
- Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
