An opportunity has arisen for a Livestock Manager – Beef & Dairy to join a progressive, regenerative mixed farming business in North Nottinghamshire. This hands-on role involves managing a team of four, overseeing the daily and strategic operations of a livestock enterprise. Responsibilities include working closely with the farm owner/director and veterinary team to develop work plans, implementing operational procedures, managing animal welfare, record keeping, vet and medication stock management, feed inventories, and fencing.
A family-run, mixed farming business operating across 2000 hectares, finishing Angus/Hereford dairy crosses annually. The business employs a regenerative, forage-based system producing high-welfare livestock on herbal leys, forage crops, and rotational grazing. Stock are finished indoors on a TMR system, supported by modern handling yards, silage clamps, and finishing facilities. The company offers a supportive environment with a strong team culture and was nominated in the Farmers Weekly Beef Farmer of the Year awards.
