The respiratory physiology service has an opportunity to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic individual to the role of Senior Clinical Physiologist for a fixed-term maternity cover post. This is a hybrid role, working between the lung function labs and the integrated care service, where you will support the community respiratory clinics. We are a busy, friendly, multidisciplinary team including physiologists, clinical scientists, administrators and consultants.
In lung function, the post-holder will perform a range of standard and complex lung function tests. As part of the cross-site rota, there will be the opportunity to work in the Sleep Centre at Charing Cross Hospital to develop, or maintain skills in respiratory polygraphy analysis and CPAP compliance clinics. We also host PTP and STP students, so there is the opportunity to be involved in teaching.
In the integrated care role, you will support the community teams with ARTP accreditation and portfolios. The postholder will be required to proactively contribute to the wider development of the service, coordinating delivery of the community spirometry clinics and developing the diagnostic hubs.
