Job summary
A leading charity supporting domestic abuse survivors is seeking a full-time Pathfinder Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA). This role involves supporting victim/survivors through the Family Court process, ensuring they are informed and prepared for proceedings. Ideal candidates should have strong empathy and interpersonal skills, with experience in advocacy. The position offers a salary of £25,282.44 – £28,861.62, based in the Black Country, with applications due by January 2, 2026.
Qualifications
- Challenging role requiring empathy, compassion, and confidence working with partner agencies.
- Experience in advocating for clients and managing caseloads.
- Ability to prepare detailed reports for court proceedings.
Responsibilities
- Support victim/survivors throughout the Family Court process.
- Ensure clients are well-informed and prepared for court.
- Provide expert advice and training to court staff on domestic abuse.
