Job summary
A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Project Manager for a new construction project in South Dublin. The role involves coordinating construction activities, managing teams, and ensuring project completion. Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of experience managing developments and possess a degree in Construction Management. This position offers a competitive salary of up to €100k plus a vehicle and fuel.

INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:
Project Manager (Construction)
New Build School
South Dublin
Up to €90K - €100k + Vehicle & Fuel
Project Manager role on a new project in South Dublin.
Location would suit anyone from South Dublin, Wicklow, and Wexford.
Projects range in value from €5M to €45M and vary between commercial and residential.
Applicants must have experience managing developments from brownfield through all internal works to handover. Ideally will have experience building schools.
- Coordinate and monitor and review construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.
- Liaise with the design team to ensure works are completed according to the programme.
- Report to and support the Contracts Manager to ensure smooth completion of project.
- Inspect works completed by trade teams as required.
- Direct and Manage personnel, site staff and subcontractors and manage and coordinate weekly progress meetings, workshops and plan actions.
- Monitor construction to ensure quality of work and coordinate and liaise with Contracts Manager, Site Engineers and Service Coordinators to ensure all personnel have accurate and timely information.
- Work closely with the Senior Engineer to ensure the quality of works being completed.
- Degree in Construction Management or similar (Third level qualification) is essential.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience with a Main Contractor in NI or ROI.
- Must be proficient in the use of different construction software and up to date with
- Background in engineering is desirable.
- Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines and update the programme when necessary.
- Experience managing a high-rise apartment development or RC Frame new build from start to finish.
- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint with Excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentational skills.
