Job summary
A leading educational organization in the UK is seeking a Governance Manager to oversee the corporate governance delivery. You will support the Board of Directors and ensure compliance with regulations while managing governance processes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of higher education governance, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role may involve travel to local and European campuses.
Qualifications
- Excellent understanding of higher education governance, including academic and corporate governance.
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage relationships with senior staff and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and coordination of the Governance calendar.
- Ensure reporting deadlines are met for Boards and Committees.
- Provide high quality secretariat support to Boards and Committees.
