MPI has a requirement for B1 and B2 Licensed Engineers to start as soon as possible for a 3-6 month contract on site at Stansted Airport.
Applicants must have recent experience with the Embraer Phenom 300 and/or Embraer Legacy.
The work involves 6 days a week from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with potential for other shift patterns.
These roles are deemed Out of Scope of IR35.
Rate: GBP 42.90 per hour (LTD).
Job Purpose:
Perform maintenance and certify maintenance in accordance with current certification privileges.
Accountability:
Ensure all scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance events are completed for aircraft under ITJC Part 145 control, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
- Hold company approvals for aircraft type engine run-up authorization for Embraer Phenom 300 and/or Embraer Legacy.
- Perform scheduled and non-routine maintenance tasks, including inspections and defect rectification.
- Communicate progress through daily reports and meetings.
- Liaise with hangar management regarding progress, manpower, critical path, and third-party requirements.
- Coordinate with support services for spares procurement, shortage reports, repairs, and technical information.
- Ensure all activities follow relevant safety procedures.
- Ensure staff are properly directed, briefed, and work according to the quality system.
- Monitor quality of work to enable timely release to service.
- Ensure proper handovers between shifts and departments.
- Liaise with customer representatives and fulfill customer requests during inspections.
- Seek continuous improvement to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
- Perform any other duties as required by the Deputy Head of Maintenance.

- Authority over staff within responsibility area.
- Request and provide assistance to the Head of Maintenance.
- Request assistance from other departments.
Qualifications Prerequisites:
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

- Recognized Apprenticeship.
- Full unrestricted B1 or B2 license (B2 engineers must have electrical privileges).
- A, C, licenses.
- Engine ground run approval.
