A small specialist school for children aged 5 to 11 in Wokingham is looking for a Youth Mental Health Worker to support the social skills, emotional wellbeing and mental health of the students within their school. The school provides an alternative education for children who have social & emotional difficulties such as anxiety and school refusal due to developmental trauma and adverse childhood experiences, as well as specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia and dyscalculia. The Youth Mental Health Worker will be working closely with trained professionals including Psychologists and Therapists and will have the opportunity to shadow their work.
