A community-focused organisation is looking for a Youth Mental Health Support Worker to join their alternative provision school in Bristol. This vital role involves mentoring students, fostering emotional well-being, and helping them overcome challenges. The ideal candidate has experience in SEMH and SEN support, is resilient, and holds a full UK driving license. You'll be part of a collaborative team and have the chance to make a significant impact on young lives every day.
Are you driven by a passion for supporting young people's mental health and well-being?
We're offering an exciting opportunity for a Youth Mental Health Support Worker to join a vibrant alternative provision school within the Cabot Learning Federation, based near the Barton Hill/Kingswood area. This role goes beyond the classroom-it's about helping pupils overcome obstacles, build resilience, and flourish both emotionally and academically.
Our partnered school provides a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for pupils aged 11-16 who have faced barriers in mainstream education. Many students have SEMH needs, EHCPs, and complex backgrounds, including experiences of trauma, social challenges, and undiagnosed special needs. The school's mission is to re-engage learners through creative outreach, sports, expressive arts, and community projects, fostering confidence and a sense of belonging.
If you're ready to inspire, support, and empower young people while advancing your career in a people-focused organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
