Job summary

A leading employment support organization seeks a Careers Specialist to empower young people in overcoming barriers to employment. The role involves providing tailored advice, delivering workshops, and assisting with job applications. The ideal candidate will have experience working with disadvantaged individuals and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Qualifications

  • At least 2 years' experience supporting disadvantaged individuals into employment, education or training.
  • Proven ability to build trust with individuals facing complex needs.
  • Experience delivering employability workshops or training sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, person-centred Information, Advice and Guidance to young people.
  • Identify and create opportunities for employment, education and training.
  • Deliver workshops and group sessions across multiple London boroughs.
  • Assist young people with CVs, applications and interview preparation.
  • Maintain an inclusive and client-centred approach.
