Job description
Overview

Personal Assistants support people to live well. They provide the right support at the right time to help others to live their best lives. The job is rewarding and fulfilling.

The job

I am looking for compassionate individuals to join my current PAs in helping me live independently in my own home alongside my dog. I currently have a vacancy and can offer up to 30.5 hours per week.

The job role involves:

  • general housework
  • keeping me on track with my day to day routines
  • walking my dog
  • supporting me to access the community
  • attending appointments
  • full support with cooking and making drinks
The right person

I have Dementia. Due to my disability I need someone reliable, committed, trustworthy and most importantly has a good sense of humour and likes dogs. If you like to cook or bake, that is something I would really enjoy. The role would suit a mature person and because there will be occasional personal care support, so I would like female applicants. You need to be flexible enough to work days, evenings and weekends on a rota basis.

The hours

30.5 hours per week are available.

The shifts are Monday - Sunday:

  • 9.30am – 2.30pm
  • 2.30pm – 5pm
  • 5pm – 9.30pm
Rates, holidays and benefits

£12.21 per hour

You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday and the opportunity for training relevant to your role.

Successful applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. This post is subject to DBS checks, the cost of which will be met by your employer.
