Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated primary teacher looking for a rewarding role in Upper Key Stage 2? Teaching Personnel is seeking a Year 6 Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Litherland, Liverpool on a part-time basis to cover maternity leave.

  • Year Group: Year 6
  • Days:Tuesday to Friday
  • Duration: Until the end of the maternity period (likely July 2026)
  • Responsibilities:
    • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
    • Prepare pupils for end-of-year assessments and SATs.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
  • A friendly and supportive primary school with a strong community ethos.
  • Committed to providing high-quality education and promoting pupil well-being.
  • Excellent leadership team and collaborative staff culture.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 6.

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
