About the Role:

As a Year 6 Teacher, you will play a vital role in preparing pupils with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in life. You will deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners, ensuring they are confident and ready for SATs. Responsibilities for a Year 6 Teacher:
  • Plan and deliver creative and effective lessons for Year 6 pupils in line with the national curriculum.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and child protection at all times.
Requirements of a Year 6 Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of KS2 curriculum, particularly Year 6.
  • Ability to plan and deliver lessons tailored to Year 6 pupils.
  • Recent teaching or school-based experience.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
