Job description

We are seeking a creative and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school community. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to take full responsibility for a well-behaved and eager-to-learn class of lower Key Stage 2 pupils. This role begins in September 2025.

Duties as a Year 3 Teacher:
  1. Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  2. Assess and track pupil progress, providing feedback and setting targets.
  3. Foster a positive classroom environment where pupils feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn.
  4. Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues.
  5. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including trips, assemblies, and extra-curricular activities.
Ideal Year 3 Teacher:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  2. A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  3. A child-centred approach and a passion for helping pupils reach their full potential.
