Overview

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Year 2 Teacher to join a high-achieving and well-respected primary school in Redbridge, starting in April 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to work in a supportive and dynamic environment. Interviews will be held as soon as possible. Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners in Year 2.
  • Monitor, assess, and track pupils' progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support where needed.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages children's academic and social development.
  • Differentiate lessons and resources to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with SEND and EAL.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and senior leaders to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
  • Contribute to school life beyond the classroom, including events, trips, and extracurricular opportunities.
Qualifications
