Year 2 Teacher (Full Time)
Ashington, Northumberland
£600 - £1258.55 per week

The School and Role

We are currently looking to recruit a confident and professional Year 2 (KS1) Teacher to work in a friendly primary school in the Northumberland, Ashington area. This will be in an average sized Year 2 class, where there is already an experienced and established Teaching Assistant. Some of the children have SEND and are working at a lower ability and therefore will require some one on one support. This is a large school and offers a lot of support and learning opportunities. The role will be full time, working Monday to Friday, 8.30am–3.30pm. The school has a supportive senior leadership team and offers a lot of additional support to their supply staff.

Requirements

The desired Year 2 (KS1) Teacher will have;

  • Experience of working with primary school aged children, ideally within a Key Stage 1 class
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • QTS within the UK
