Role

Your Role as a Year 2 Teacher

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support the transition from Year 1 to Year 2, following the KS1 curriculum.
• Create a warm and inclusive classroom where all children feel supported and encouraged to learn.
• Develop early reading, writing, and numeracy skills using effective and engaging teaching strategies.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support to help all children succeed.
• Foster a love of learning and curiosity about the world in your students.
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues to enhance each child\'s educational journey.
• Collaborate with the KS1 team to share best practices and enhance teaching and learning across the year group.

Qualifications

• A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
