Job description

We are recruiting for a teacher with experience in key stage 1 to join a year 2 class at a lovely school in Tottenham. This role is full time to begin in April until the end of July. This role would suit an experience teacher or a strong ECT with relevant experience. As this role is to cover a teacher who is going on maternity, there could be an opportunity to continue into the new academic year.

This is a two form entry, Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school situated between Seven Sisters and Manor House tube stations. Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Excellent knowledge of KS1 curriculum
  • Ability to plan, teach and effectively assess a range of pupils, including those working below national curriculum level
  • Experience in assessing child development and planning activities to support their on-going attainment and growth
  • Able to commit for the duration of the placement
  • Creative and dynamic in their approach to teaching and learning
  • Honest and compassionate
  • Happy to complete training to further develop their knowledge and understanding in education.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate or willing to complete one
