Year 2 Teacher – Location: Wigan

Pay: £130+ per day DOE

Exclusive Education is currently recruiting a Year 2 Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming primary school in Wigan.

The role is ideal for anyone who is ready to lead a classroom and make a positive impact from day one. You'll be working in a friendly, lively, and inclusive school setting that values creativity, commitment, and a strong passion for teaching.

To be considered for the role as a Primary Teacher, you must:

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE, B.Ed., BA Hons with QTS)
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
  • Have experience working with children (school placements included)
  • Be able to provide two references covering the last two years, ideally from placements or child-related settings
  • Hold a current DBS registered to the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Foster a positive learning environment through effective behavior management techniques.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and share best practices.
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes early childhood education principles
