A reputable education staffing agency in the UK is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will possess Level 2/3 qualifications, experience working in KS1, and knowledge of phonics, particularly Little Wandle. This part-time role requires supporting students both in groups and individually, leading literacy sessions, and assisting teachers in classroom activities. The position offers excellent pay and a supportive environment.
Supply Heroes are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work with a supportive and energetic primary school in Birmingham with a fantastic reputation. They are looking for a passionate Year 1 Teaching Assistant to work across the classroom with a pro‑active, enthusiastic and engaging approach. The ideal candidate will have KS1 experience and have a depth of knowledge with phonics, especially Little Wandle.
The role will be classroom based, however; you may run targeted interventions supporting students in a small group basis as well as 1:1 with specific subjects such as literacy and numeracy. You may lead sessions in writing and spelling and assist the teacher in planning / carrying out activities for the pupils and also help in preparation and organisation of classroom resources.
This role is Part‑Time, 2 days a week (Monday and Tuesday).
