A leading supplier of temporary buildings is seeking an operations team member in Stoke-on-Trent. The role involves preparing buildings for delivery, including cleaning, minor repairs, and ensuring quality standards. Candidates should have practical experience in trades such as joinery, plumbing, and electrics, preferably in construction or modular building. The position offers an hourly rate of £14.95, plus benefits such as 33 holidays, pension schemes, and employee assistance programs.
As part of the depot's operations team, you'll be responsible for preparing our range of buildings for delivery, which will primarily involve ensuring the building is cleaned and furnished. You will also undertake minor repairs to walls and doors, replacement of plumbing and electrical fixtures and fittings and preparation of external walls in readiness for painting.
You'll have practical experience of industrial trades such as joinery, plumbing and electrics gained from working in construction, property maintenance or ideally the temporary or modular building industry. You'll be someone who strives to meet deadlines, whilst always working safely and maintaining quality standards and be able to work effectively with colleagues. Our work is physically demanding and takes place outdoors, so you should be prepared to be exposed to extremes of weather.
