We are seeking an experienced and proactive Workshop Section Lead (Electrical) to join a leading tool and equipment hire business serving specialist contractors. This is a workshop-based role, focused on the inspection, maintenance, and repair of a broad range of electrical tools and lighting. You will take ownership of the Electrical section, supervising and supporting the team while ensuring high standards of service, safety, and productivity. This is an exciting opportunity to grow a key part of the business and play a pivotal role in shaping the workshop operations.

Job Overview
  • Clean and maintain the presentation of equipment.
  • Inspect, test, and repair returning hire equipment, including PAT testing.
  • Troubleshoot and repair a range of electrical tools and lighting.
  • Support and train the Electrical team, helping them meet KPIs for quality and productivity.
  • Work with workshop supervisors to ensure overall workshop KPIs are achieved.
  • Contribute to system improvements, stock management, and procedural development.
  • Take day-to-day responsibility for managing the Electrical team and ensuring smooth operations.
