Qualifications

  • Some engineering experience would be beneficial.
  • MIG/TIG welding would be an advantage.
  • Experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment.
  • Awareness of health & safety and quality assurance procedures.
  • Forklift experience desirable (but not essential).
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to a positive team culture.

Hales Group is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer based in Lowestoft. Our client is expanding their Manufacturing team and seeking a dedicated Workshop Labourer to support engineering and stores operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general labouring and cleaning support within the workshop
  • Assist with Goods In/Out processes
  • Operate forklift for yard control (training provided if required)
  • Support the manufacturing team in delivering high-quality engineering projects
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and cleanliness
  • Help achieve production targets and uphold quality standards
