A leading infrastructure company is seeking a Works Delivery Manager in Sheffield to manage multiple Network Rail contracts. The ideal candidate will have railway experience and hold an HNC/HND in Construction or equivalent industry experience. Responsibilities include providing site guidance, implementing management plans, and liaising with the client. As a Works Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the management of multiple Network Rail and rail related infrastructure contracts, including planned and reactive works. Reporting to the Project Manager in Sheffield, the role will involve working on projects throughout the Eastern Region.
In order to carry out some of the main functions of the role, you will need to have an excellent understanding of design drawings and a commercial awareness of cost monitoring and cost value reconciliation.
Liaising with the Client on a day-to-day basis is also a key part of this position, so we are looking for someone who is able to confidently maintain and develop client relationships on the basis of mutual trust and high standards.
This a very fast paced role, in which you can expect to have a high involvement in the planning of the works programme.
The ideal candidate will have experience of the CAM Framework, railway experience and construction management experience (comprising smaller value low complex projects in multiple disciplines: structures, drainage, earthworks).
