Overview

Workplace Experience Facilitator - Fixed Term Contract

Hello! Thanks for stopping by. We have an exciting opportunity for a Workplace Experience Facilitator to join the Land & Property team at Yorkshire Water.

Location and work type

Location: Bradford, with travel to different sites.

Work type: Fixed term contract for 12 months, full time 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday between 07:30 and 17:30.

New environmental legislation, investment, and changing customer expectations create opportunities within the water industry. The Land & Property team helps meet these changing expectations.

Your role

You will deliver an efficient Workplace Experience Service function, including managing Reception, Helpdesk and Mail room services. You will be the first point of contact for all building users, visitors and contractors for both physical attendance and service system requests and email queries.

Key responsibilities
  • Act as the prime facilitator for all reported issues/concerns and queries between all parties (Visitors, building users, Contractors & Building Control Team).
  • Coordinate internal and external resources as necessary.
  • Manage all site booking in/out protocols, including induction processes for visitors/contractors.
  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally; determine purpose, take ownership of queries, and provide accurate information.
  • Log and process incidents/requests in the service system (SAM) and provide feedback and updates as required.
  • Maintain mail management controls – receipt, distribution, processing, franking, and courier requests.

  • Ability to follow documented policy and procedures.
  • Strong prioritisation, time and workload management skills.
  • Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Practical problem-solving approach and ability to work in a team.
  • Flexible approach with coverage across the wider Administration team (including holiday cover).
  • Awareness of finance is beneficial.
  • Full driving licence required; travel between sites and occasional out-of-hours work (1 in 8 weeks).
