Role Summary

Salary: £25,660 - £26,320 per annum (depending on qualifications & experience). Hours: Minimum 37.5 hrs per week (term time only 40 weeks).

About the Role
  • Work closely with the academic department and Employability, Skills and Careers teams to coordinate, approve and complete work placements for college students.
  • Carry out pre-placement health and safety visits and provide progress reviews of students while on placement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships and systems supporting the College work‑placement process, mindful of current legislation and best practice.
About You
  • Interest and experience in the Land-Based Sector, particularly Agriculture and Animal Management.
  • Strong communication skills and an approachable manner.
  • Ability to work effectively with team members, students, parents, and employers.
  • Commitment to maintaining strong industry links to support future placements.
  • Full driving licence required and willingness to use own vehicle when pool cars unavailable for student placement visits (mileage expenses can be claimed back).
