Interpret designs and code (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, Velocity), to create engaging, modern (UX) web experiences through the university’s content management system (CMS).
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX design.
Build web applications with web development best practices.
Work with back-end programmers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases.
Debug errors, troubleshoot issues and perform routine performance optimizations.
Diagnose and resolve problems in markup and style.
Write high-quality, scalable and reusable code.
Report on emerging technologies and industry trends.
Support a diverse population, with varying skill levels, in the maintenance of web content in the University’s CMS.
Follow project management methodology.
Other duties as assigned.
