Job description

We are looking for a skilled Wok Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate is to assist and support the operations for the smooth running of the Bugis Street Kitchen. To prepare and cook food on a daily basis according to business requirements to provide Outstanding Guest experience by providing quality food and service. Maintaining high standards of quality, and assisting with breakfast preparations as needed. To be flexible to the business requirements, maintaining control at all times and ensuring clear lines of communication.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Together with the Chef organize the shift for which he / she is working to ensure its smooth running and to ensure that all areas of the kitchen maintain the hotel standards.
• Under the guidance of the Chef, organize the shift, with regard to mise en-place production and its service.
• To take orders from the Chef and carry them out in the correct manner.
• To work to the specifications received by the Chef regarding portion size, quantity and quality as laid down in the recipe index.
