Nursery Room Leader
RAFAKidz Nursery, Wittering, Peterborough PE8 6DW
£13.30 - £14 per hour • 38 hours over 4 days
Just like our children, our waiting lists are growing! In each of our 21 settings we create experiences that are special, unique and child focused. Our staff are specially selected for their loving and caring nature, as well as their expertise. The needs of military families are unique, and at RAFAKidz we take extra care to make sure those needs are met.
By joining us as part of our RAFAKidz family, we make a commitment to your ongoing development and future career opportunities. (Please read our staff testimonials on our website!) We ask that you bring a positive, caring and enthusiastic attitude and in return we will give you a great induction experience, training and development opportunities and you’ll be learning on the job from amazing colleagues! We offer subsidised childcare for colleagues to be able to bring their children with them, high quality up-to-date training including using our software to electronically record your observations and updates. You’ll have ample annual leave and time off to relax and recharge over the Christmas period.
You can expect to be fully ‘hands on’ to create a stimulating and exciting nursery setting. Ideally you will be either an experienced Room Leader or a Level 3 Practitioner ready for your next challenge. As well as the usual responsibilities that you would expect of this role, our Room Leaders are part of our management team and role models to other members of staff. You will encourage and motivate your colleagues to continually demonstrate best practices and support them in their learning journey towards their qualifications. You will have a minimum of one year’s experience working at a level 3 position in an early year’s environment and have a good understanding of the EYFS learning outcomes to plan for children’s learning and development.
Please review the complete job description for the full overview of requirements. If you’re looking for a real opportunity to be part of our growth journey and help us specifically support our valued military community, please apply.
This post requires a satisfactory, enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check on appointment and every three years thereafter. As part of our inclusive culture, we encourage applications across all cultural backgrounds, genders and abilities.
