Overview
As a Sommelier you will oversee all aspects of the wine service in the restaurant and contribute to the development of the wine list for the resort. This will include serving wine within the restaurant and bar service, managing stock levels and helping develop our teams to be able to recommend and sell wines to customers both to complement their tastes and to pair with their menu choices.
Responsibilities
- Serve wine within restaurant and bar service.
- Manage stock levels and assist in developing the wine list.
- Support and develop team members to confidently recommend and sell wines to guests, aligning with tastes and menu pairings.
Qualifications
- Experience within the hospitality sector or specifically in a role working with wines; ideally within a Sommelier or supplier background.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a genuine passion for sharing knowledge to enhance the guest dining experience.
- WSET level 3 or 4 diploma or equivalent Sommelier qualification is preferred but not essential; training can be provided as you settle into the role.
