A leading UK retailer is seeking a White Goods Engineer to repair and service white goods at the Thetford Customer Service Centre. Qualifications

  • CCN1 and CKR1 ACS or equivalent are preferred.

Role: White Goods Engineer (Gas and Non‑Gas) at Currys, Thetford Customer Service Centre.

Salary £39k‑£42k, Permanent, Full Time.

Shift Pattern average 41 hours per week, 5 over 7 with rostered Saturdays, no Sundays.

Responsibilities
  • Visit customers’ homes to fix, install or service a range of white goods including washing machines, dishwashers, fridges and more.
  • Manage your own schedule, work independently and drive a fully equipped company van.
  • Diagnose faults and repair appliances efficiently and effectively.
  • Get to the root of issues and fix things first time wherever you can.
  • Deliver expert advice and technical support with a smile.
  • Represent Currys as a trusted home services professional.
Qualifications
  • Hands‑on experience repairing domestic white goods (essential).
  • A full UK/EU driving licence (max 6 points).
  • CCN1 and CKR1 ACS or equivalent (LPG preferred but not required).
  • Confidence working on your own and solving problems on the spot.
  • A friendly, professional attitude, taking pride in doing the job right first time.
  • A natural problem‑solving skill with great customer service.
  • To love that feeling when you've delivered for a customer and made a difference.
