What you’ll be doing

You’ll be stepping into the classroom when the teacher is away, making sure lessons run smoothly and that learners stay engaged and on track.

  • Supervising and supporting students during lessons
  • Delivering pre‑prepared lesson plans and keeping everyone on task
  • Encouraging participation and celebrating effort

  • Ensuring pupil well‑being and safeguarding at all times
What We’re Looking For
  • Fluent Welsh speaker (spoken and written) – this role is all about supporting Welsh‑medium learning
  • Friendly, confident, and adaptable
  • Great communication and people skills
  • A positive, proactive attitude and love for working with young people
  • Experience in schools or youth settings is ideal (but we’ll support you if you’re new to it!)
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Eligible to work in the UK
