Job summary

A local care home organisation is seeking an Activities Coordinator for their Thornton Hall and Lodge location. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and running engaging activities for residents, ensuring their enjoyment and safety. You will manage budgets, assist with fundraising, and maintain community connections. Qualifications

• Experience in planning and running diverse events.
• Good communication skills to engage residents and families.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Plan and gain approval for a programme of varied group and/or individual events.
• Run all events, considering patient safety and enjoyment.
• Accompany and assist residents on outings, ensuring safety standards.
• Manage finances associated with the activity programme and assist in fundraising activities.
• Organise visits from religious ministers and assist with transport.
