Overview

MIG Welder - Afternoon Shift

Location: Outskirts of Leeds. Hours: Mon-Wed, 2:15pm - 12:30am; Thu, 2:15pm - 12:00am.

Responsibilities
  • MIG weld components to precise specifications
  • Work from engineering drawings with accuracy
  • Conduct quality inspections on all completed welds
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools
  • Comply with all health and safety protocols
Qualifications
  • Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Competent in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and to deadlines
  • Current/previous coding to BS EN ISO 9606-1 - renewal support available (Desirable)

  • £15.29 per hour (DOE) + 25% shift allowance
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (factory closure over Christmas)
  • 4%/4% pension, rising to 6% employer contribution after 12 months
  • Death in service cover x3 salary if in the pension scheme (or capped at £10k)
