Welder/Fabricator (Industrial)

Location: Dundee, Scotland

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Progression + Overtime + Pension + Company Van (for work use) + Fuel Card

In this role, the successful Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for working on a mixture of both standard as well as bespoke jobs for clients within Heavy Industries (gas, petrochemical, construction etc…) from both the workshop as well as customer sites. You will be responsible for both reading and interpreting technical drawings/blueprints to determine welding requirements. In addition, you will also be responsible for the preparation of any materials needed, e.g. cutting metal components etc… You will also be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of any welding equipment used, ensuring both your equipment and welds are up to standard. Finally, you will be responsible for ensuring health and safety is adhered to in addition to keeping accurate technical documentation as and when needed.

The ideal Welder/Fabricator or similar will have previous experience within a Fabricator position as well as a background in Welding. In addition, you will be experienced in/have a knowledge of both TIG and STICK Welding. Finally, you will hold a full, valid UK driver's license.
