Job summary

A well-known manufacturing company in Gravesend seeks an experienced Welder Fabricator for workshop-based contract work. The ideal candidate will carry out welding duties to a high standard, operate band saw equipment, and maintain good workshop safety. Previous workshop welding and fabrication experience is required but no formal tickets are necessary. This position offers a competitive rate of £22 per hour for a temp to perm contract with potential for weekend hours.

We are seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator for workshop-based contract work in Gravesend, Kent.

• Contract Longevity: Temp to Perm
• Rate: £22 per hour
• Start Date: ASAP
• Work Hours: 07:00 - 16:00
• Hours Paid: 8.5 hours
• Weekends: Potentially Available

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out welding duties to a high standard with clean and accurate finishes
• Operate band saw cutting equipment
• Undertake rotabroach drilling work
• Read and understand basic fabrication drawings
• Work safely and efficiently within a workshop environment
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow workshop health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Very good welding ability with a clean finish

• Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
