Overview

Welder/Fabricators x 3 — Jenrick Engineering are seeking 3 x skilled Fabricator/Welders to join our client's team on a straight permanent contract. The ideal candidates will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various welding techniques.

Salary

Up to £36,000 per annum depending on experience and shifts.

Hours

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday; various shifts to choose from.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform welding tasks using stick welding techniques, ensuring strong and durable joints.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and finish metal materials.
• Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles.
• Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
• Familiarity with sheet metal work is advantageous.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A valid welding certification is preferred but not mandatory.
