Join Henderson Products Inc., located in Manchester, IA! We are the North American leader in the design, manufacture, and upfit of multi-purpose equipment for heavy-duty work trucks, specializing in snow and ice control and "Keeping America’s Roads Safe!"

Day Shift - 5am to 3:00pm, 20-minute paid lunch. Flexible start times available if needed.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

As a Welder of truck-mounted equipment, you will be responsible for consistently producing high-quality weldments using blueprints or documentation to meet daily schedule targets and customer demand. Welders set up, operate, adjust, and regulate welding machines. They weld with or without fixtures, use various tools to cut, grind, bevel, fit metals, and remove slag. They also perform maintenance, ensure weld quality, participate in training, perform daily 5S activities, and adhere to safety standards.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS:

• Ability to weld parts using GMAW MIG process
• Ability to read blueprints, basic shop math, and tape measure reading skills
• Ability to operate overhead hoist
• Minimum of 6 months experience and/or an associate degree or certification
• Adherence to health and safety rules and maintaining good housekeeping (5S)

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs
• Bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
• Exposure to noise, weld, and grinding fumes at times
