This temp-to-perm role offers a competitive rate of £14.50/hour, with shifts spanning 12 hours through the night.

Overview

Welder - Night Shift - MIG & TIG. We are seeking experienced Night Shift Welders to join a dynamic fabrication team. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for skilled welders who can work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Read engineering drawings and adapt to varied batch sizes—from one-off assemblies to thousands of brackets.
• Weld primarily with MIG welding on mild steel (2-8mm), with occasional TIG work.
• Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure quality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG welding; TIG experience is a plus.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Strong fabrication experience and attention to detail.

Compensation & Schedule

• Rate: £14.50/hr for first 39 hours with 9 hours at x1.33 uplift.
• Annual salary equivalent: £38,400.
• Hours: 12-hour night shifts.
