Weekend Bank Kitchen Assistant

Location: Glenholme Thimbleby Court, Horncastle LN9 5RA
Pay Rate: £12.30 per hour

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support our Chef with all delegated kitchen tasks, ensuring high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation at all times. This role is for weekends only and offers the opportunity to work within a friendly and supportive care environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all areas of the kitchen are clean and tidy at all times.

  • Wash and sanitise all kitchen equipment thoroughly.

  • Use ingredients and resources economically and efficiently.

  • Report all defects, damages, and breakages promptly to the Chef/Assistant Cook.

  • Assist in daily kitchen operations, including preparing vegetables, sandwiches, and other food items.

  • Clean the kitchen and ancillary rooms thoroughly according to the cleaning schedule.

  • Work flexibly in other areas when required.

  • Maintain a clean, ironed, and professional uniform at all times.
