Role Overview

As Website Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day performance and optimisation of the website.

  • The site’s visual identity and branding are established; your focus is usability, conversion, and commercial performance
  • Work closely with Marketing, Commercial, Sales, and IT to keep the website clear, intuitive, and aligned with business priorities
Key Responsibilities
Website & Product Management
  • Maintain accurate product listings using brand-supplied content
  • Ensure imagery, copy, and product data are consistent and up to date
  • Remove discontinued or sold-through productsRefresh wider site content (news, careers, info pages)
E-commerce & Optimisation
  • Analyse user behaviour to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Refine copy, layouts, and CTAs
  • Run A/B tests across product pages, banners, and checkout
  • Align site activity with campaigns and seasonal priorities
  • Monitor conversion rate, AOV, CPA, and revenue contribution
UX & Development
  • Maintain clear navigation and logical site structure
  • Improve landing pages and customer journeys
  • Collaborate with development partners on improvements
  • Keep up-to-date with e-commerce best practice
Marketing & Campaigns
  • Support marketing campaigns through on-site execution
  • Manage promotions, banners, and offer codes
  • Support product launches with effective digital presentation
SEO & Reporting
  • Deliver SEO strategies focused on quality traffic and performance
  • Identify keyword opportunities and optimise content
  • Analyse data using GA4, Adobe Commerce, and heatmapping tools
  • Produce reports with actionable recommendationsPresent monthly updates to senior stakeholders
Team Support
  • Line manage a Website Admin Assistant
  • Plan workloads around product launches and priorities
What We’re Looking For
Essential
  • Experience managing and optimising e-commerce websites
  • Hands-on CMS experience (Adobe Commerce, Magento, or Shopify)
  • Strong understanding of UX, CRO, and online merchandising
  • Confident in using analytics to inform decisions
  • Experience with A/B testing and behavioural data
  • SEO & SEM knowledge
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Technical understanding, including HTML and CSS
  • Experience with GA4 and Tag Manager
