Job summary

A leading NGO support firm is seeking experienced senior freelance web developers. Candidates must be skilled in creating custom WordPress sites without themes and optimizing them for client handover. The ideal applicant has at least three years of experience and a portfolio showcasing ten or more projects. You will work with various NGOs to help them achieve their digital goals, ideally based in or close to a UK timezone.

• Portfolio of over 10 WordPress sites.
• Excellent design sense with color and content.

What we need from you

• Ability to create websites from scratch (without a theme)
• Structure sites so they are easy to hand over to non-techy clients
• Secure and maintain sites so they load optimally
• Provide analytics insight
• Develop plugins as necessary

Qualifications

• Excellent design eye - e.g. you understand colour palettes and content hierarchy
• At least 3 years' of experience building corporate WordPress sites
