Job Description

Our client is an outstanding water treatment company known for their expertise in all areas of water treatment. The company is currently recruiting for an experienced and versatile Service Chemist/Account Manager based in and around Warrington to join their team. The role is varied and the ideal candidate will be experienced in carrying out both technical water treatment duties alongside account management with experience managing both new and existing accounts. The successful candidate will have hands on experience carrying out analysis of cooling towers, steam boilers and closed system water. Applications from Warrington, Manchester, Bolton and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience
  • Experience of working in a service chemist role, undertaking the analysis of system boilers, closed systems and cooling tower water.
  • Previous experience in managing a portfolio of steam boiler, cooling tower and closed system accounts.
  • Hands on experience delivering water hygiene duties in accordance with ACOP L8.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good working knowledge of the water treatment/hygiene industry essential.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office package.
Duties within the role
  • Chemical Analysis on cooling towers, steam boilers and closed heated and chilled systems.
  • Maintenance of domestic and industrial water systems.
  • Routine monitoring tasks at various properties as per client requirements.
  • Providing the full range of Service Chemist duties on an array of systems across a variety of sectors.
  • Updating site log books.
  • Managing the company’s new and existing accounts, whilst generating new leads.
  • Maintaining a professional working relationship with new and existing clients.
