Our client is a nationwide water treatment/hygiene company looking to recruit an experienced and hardworking Water Treatment Service Chemist to cover a variety of contracts in the Tunbridge Wells area. Applications from Tonbridge, Horley, Maidstone, Crowborough and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience working in a water treatment service chemist role essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Practical working knowledge of the water treatment/hygiene industry.
• Competent with the Microsoft Office package.

Role

• Chemical analysis on cooling towers, steam boilers and closed heated and chilled systems.
• Flushing of calorifiers, tank cleans, temperature monitoring, cooling towers and chlorination of steam boilers.
• Maintenance and monitoring of domestic and industrial water systems, closed system flushing, water softener servicing and disinfection of systems.
• Providing the full range of service chemist duties across a diverse range of sectors.
• Updating of site log books.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with clients.
