A leading water treatment company based in Leicester is seeking an experienced Water Treatment Pre-commissioning Engineer. The ideal candidate will have extensive pre-commissioning experience, be competent in flushing water systems to BSRIA guidelines, and come from a strong chemical and water treatment background. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also required. This role covers areas including Leicester, Coventry, and Nottingham.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Pre-Commissioning work within the water treatment industry.
• Hands-on experience flushing water systems to BSRIA guidelines.
• Strong chemical and water treatment background.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out pre-commissioning cleaning on the systems according to BSRIA standards.
• Balance flushing of Heated/Chilled Systems.
• Flushing, sampling, and dosing of Closed Systems.
• Water/Legionella Sampling.
• Dosing and washing systems.
• Chemical and tank cleans.
• Chlorination and disinfection works in accordance with ACOP L8 guidelines.
• Producing accurate reports.

Due to the acquisition of new contracts, our client, a well‑established water treatment/hygiene company now has a vacancy for an experienced and competent Water Treatment Pre‑commissioning Engineer based in or around the Leicester area. The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a pre‑commissioning role and be confident in carrying out the flushing of water systems to BSRIA guidelines. Consideration will be given to applications from Leicester, Coventry, Nottingham and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must have extensive experience in carrying out Pre‑Commissioning work within the water treatment industry.
• Have hands on experience flushing water systems to BSRIA guidelines.
• Will come from a strong chemical and water treatment background.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office package.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out pre‑commissioning cleaning on the systems according to BSRIA standards.
• Balance flushing of Heated/Chilled Systems.
• Flushing, sampling and dosing of Closed Systems.
• Water/ Legionella Sampling.
• Dosing – CHW and LTHW systems and washing systems.
• Chemical and tank cleans.
• Chlorination and disinfection works in accordance with ACOP L8 guidelines.
• Schematic drawings and producing accurate reports.
