A leading water treatment company is seeking an experienced Water Treatment Pre-commissioning Engineer based in Greater Manchester. Candidates should have extensive experience in pre-commissioning work, specifically flushing water systems to BSRIA guidelines. The role involves carrying out cleaning, sampling, and dosing of water systems, along with managing chlorination works. Excellent communication skills and a strong chemical background are essential for the position.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-commissioning cleaning according to BSRIA standards.
• Balance flushing of heated/chilled systems.
• Flush, sample and dose closed systems.
• Perform water/legionella sampling.
• Dosing of CHW and LTHW systems.
• Conduct chemical and tank cleans.
• Manage chlorination and disinfection works.
• Prepare schematic drawings and produce accurate reports.

Skills

Extensive experience in pre-commissioning work

Hands-on experience flushing water systems

Strong chemical and water treatment background

Excellent communication skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office package
