Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Water Treatment Operations Manager to oversee a team of engineers and manage operations across Local Authority, Commercial, Industrial, and Leisure sites in London and the surrounding area. The role focuses on ensuring work is completed within agreed timeframes, delivering training, and acting as a first point of contact for clients.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage the company’s Water Treatment, Water Hygiene and Legionella work schedule.
  • Streamline company processes for greater efficiency.
  • Deliver training to new employees and conduct appraisals for existing staff.
  • Oversee the engineering team.
  • Attend sites to ensure compliance with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
  • Represent the company in meetings with clients.
  • Provide support and advice to clients as first point of contact.
  • Collaborate with account managers to produce accurate quotes and tenders.
  • Ensure projects run within agreed timeframes.
  • Maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications
  • Strong technical, chemical and management skills.
  • Hands‑on experience in the Water Treatment / Water Hygiene industry, ideally as an operations manager.
  • Extensive knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
  • Understanding of financial management and reporting.
  • Ability to organise workload efficiently to meet company and client needs.
  • Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues.
