Our client specialises within the Water Treatment / Water Hygiene industry. Working across Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare and Educational sites. Due to continued success, they are now looking to take on a City and Guilds / NVQ qualified Water Treatment Engineer / Plumber. You will be working alongside a team of established engineers / plumbers carrying out a mixed range of duties e.g., CWST cleans, disinfections and chlorination, calorifier endoscopic inspections, deadleg removals and carrying out the removal, installation, and rerouting of pipework.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Newport, Caerphilly, Bridgend, Barry, Neath, Port Talbot, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud, Bristol, Bath, Trowbridge, Swindon, Taunton, Minehead, Weston-Super-Mare, Ilminster, Andover, Warminster, Chippenham, Sailsbury.

Experience & Qualifications

• Hold City and Guilds / NVQ L2 / L3 in Plumbing
• Experience working within an engineer / plumbing role
• Working for a reputable Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company would be advantageous
• Holding G3 unvented ticker would be beneficial to the role
• Able to demonstrate knowledge of HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines
• Will be able to organise workload and communicate efficiently

The Role

• TMV installation, repairing and servicing
• CWST cleans, disinfections, installations and chlorination
• Carrying out flushing on little used outlets
• Calorifier endoscopic inspections
• Carrying out deadleg removals
• Removal, installation, and rerouting of PVC / Copper pipe work
• Mains injections
• Showerhead descales
• Installing and servicing cylinders if G3 unvented ticket is held
• Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring
• Working in line with relevant HGS / ACoP L8 guidelines
