Profile

An established Water/Legionella Company with work across the UK for Local authority, Leisure, and Private sector clients. They are now looking to take on a competent and experienced Water Treatment Engineer / Plumber, based in and around the Nottingham area. The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out Cleaning and Chlorination on both Hot and Cold Water systems, Descales and disinfections, Temperature monitoring and Plumbing duties in line with client needs. The client can offer further training into supervisory roles for the successful candidates so would be an ideal role for a candidate who is looking to take the next step in their career.

Experience & Qualifications

• Will have extensive experience working for an established Water Treatment company.
• Will hold experience carrying out Remedial Plumbing duties on a mixed portfolio of sies.
• Holding the City and Guilds L2/L3 in plumbing would be beneficial to the role.
• Will have excellent knowledge of relevant ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Will have excellent communication skills.

The Role

• Carrying out day to day water treatment duties such as: Temperature monitoring and Water sampling.
• Analysing client water systems.
• Carrying out Planned Preventive Maintenance on all dosing equipment.
• Undertaking cleaning and chlorination on both Hot and Cold-water systems, Steam Boilers, Cooling towers and showerheads.
• Carrying out Remedial plumbing works.
• Using PDA / Tablet system to gather information to produce detailed reports.
• Descaling and disinfecting alongside tank cleaning and dosing.
• Building and maintaining excellent rapport with clients.
